Out of Position

Is it better to player a guy listed at RG at LG and leave his position as RG, or should I change his position to LG? Does it matter?

There have been many thoughts about this, and you can find some detailed ones through the search function. I believe there is a small penalty for playing a G on the wrong side, and if I plan on playing him there for more than a whole season, I'll change his position. If it is a temporary move of less than a year, I'll leave him at his current position and just play him "out of position."

i usually have 3 centers starting because they are easier to find that guards.. might be a penalty, but it doesn't hurt my game that badly.

what the difference if you change a player position and it says there a penalty than not doing the position change but playing them out of position?

is it the same penalty?
