My first thought was black quarterbacks facing one another... but I can't get the Chiefs in there. Falcons, Vikings, and Titans all show up multiple times - that has to be meaningful.

Didn't Moon spend time with the Chiefs?

...or the Giants.

With the 49ers, Vikings, Steelers, Eagles and Falcons all listed, it seems like we have just about all of the top rushing QBs potentially included.

Get on it, cuervo. ;)

Heh, I'm sitting here thinking...it can't have much to do with teams that have played this year, as the Saints and Steelers haven't.

Giants/ Vikings is Fred Robbins

*Is*? Definitively?

Only brainstorm I had was that maybe this didn't have much to do with the NFL at all...but maybe the cities - or states - stood for something. There seem to be distinct runs there, and thought maybe the Steelers/Eagles was standing for PA and was just there to throw us off a little. Can't link anything there though, so probably on the wrong track.

My, it's cold in here. B-r-r-r-r-r! :D

Having the Falcons and the Vikings on there so much makes me think this is related to playoff losses. However, the Saints/Steelers have never met in the playoffs.

Perhaps losing streaks? Winning streaks? More yards rushing than passing?

What are games that I wouldn't watch if they were on TV?

Actually seriously, what was the answer to the last one so I have some idea of the direction we are headed. I guess I could look it up but that seems like a lot of work.

I have no idea on this one.

Hint: This one's specifically player-oriented.

if it's player oriented, here are a few that come to mind:

Falcons/Vikings = Morten Andersen?

Vikings/Titans = Gary Anderson?

(reaching) Maybe it's teams who have guys with homonym last names...

Atlanta kicker Jay Feely probably played against Philadephia QB AJ Feeley last season. (I don't think they spell their names the same, but they sound the same)

The Morten Andersen / Gary Anderson theme would fit here as well, of course.

I got nothing.

If that were the case then Saints/Steelers could be Todd Bouman/Grant Bowman

Deuce/Duce had occurred to me.

Don't get us started with all the different NFL variations on spelling the name "Antoine."

Maybe this is just the combinations of two NFL teams that the two kickers have been on through their long careers at any given time. I personally don't remember Gary Anderson kicking for the Eagles or 49ers, but it certainly could have happened without my noticing or remembering.

This is the correct answer.

These two guys (a) are ancient, (b) have both been in the league since 1982, and (c) have played on the same team but at different times, so I thought it'd be rather tricky.
