Please don't tell me you gave up on rice.

...and I'll smoke, so you won't have to. http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/%7Efof/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif

A fillipino guy not eating rice  Nonsense!!!Yeah.... crazy, but true. Any bets to see which resolution I will break first: cigarettes, or rice?

Rice- its in your blood man! You'd be disowned in Manila for that resolution...

Cigarettes. I have a feeling you'll find a substitute for rice much more easily than a glorious addiction for nicotine.

I say neither. I have confidence in you. :)

Hey, I cut both, not at the same time, but if I can do it, anyone can. In fact, it was cutting cigarettes that partially made me have to cut the carbs later. :D

So true. Currently, I've almost gone 7 months without smoking (7 month mark on Jan 13). In the first two months, I gained 10 pounds.

I hate New Years' Resolutions because there are probably TRIPLE the number of people in the gym this week. Can't park. Gotta wait to use the treadmill. No room on the abs mat. I can't wait for February to roll around, and the vast majority of these people go back to their hamburger-eatin' coach-potato lifestyles. http://www.fof-ihof.com/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_twisted.gif (javascript:emoticon(''))

Yeah, I was somewhat prepared for it, but it seems like you don't realize it's happening while it is.

But I haven't had a cigarette in over four years now (quit cold turkey), and I have stayed within five pounds of the same weight for almost one year after losing about 70 pounds. Now, I didn't gain all of those 70 just from quitting smoking, but I would say a good 30-40 of it probably.

Yep, noticed that yesterday. The worst combination...

1. Post weekend (monday's are the worst)
2. Post holiday weekend
3. New year

I saw about 20 people I have never run into during that time slot in the past year.

Eat me. I just started back at the gym this week. And just to prove you wrong, I'll still be going to the gym next month. In fact, it's my goal to send you a pic of MY buff buns ensconsed in a pair of patriot panties.

Hmm. Actually, that sounds stalker/gay, so nevermind. :D

but i'll still be at the gym next month.

I need a chew!!

Actually the only time I crave one is when I'm sitting in front of the PC playing text sims -or- watching football on TV. Hehehe.. ok that's about most of the day. :)

I'm curious if the storm will hit today, tomorrow or (most likely) Tuesday in the gym.
