OSU's Geiger To Announce Retirement Today

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio State University has scheduled a 1 p.m. news conference to announce the retirement of Athletic Director Andy Geiger.
University president Karen A. Holbrook will also attend the news conference, according to a press release issued by Ohio State.
NBC 4's Joe Weasel reported that Geiger's retirement would be effective on June 30.

I like Geiger and would have rather seen Tressel get fired over all this crap.

I'm not a fan of Tressel, but Geiger has got to go. No doubt he is the biggest problem with all OSU sports. Its not like he is the only AD directing all of the cheating, he just seems to be stupid enough to get caught and not be able to deflect the blame to someone else.

All college sports cheat - it's just who gets caught. My feeling is someone got pissed off @ the program and was a rat.
Geiger had to "retire" - I don't think he had a choice.
