so, here I am at work, minding my own business, when the wife emails to let me know that she "might" be feeling the symptoms of early labor. (she was induced the last time and the labor was REALLY screwy, so she doesn't really have a good point of reference for this).

for now, we've decided to hang tight - I'm staying at work, and she's going to go to bed for a bit.

but damn if it isn't a bitch to try to focus on work - especially with everyone stopping by the desk to ask if anything is happening yet (for now, I'm telling them nothing).

actually, we were due yesterday.

well, I'm off. going to go home and try to catch some sleep (Christine is trying to do the same - they said the contractions WILL wake her up when it's time). If all goes well, she'll labor overnight, then go into the hospital sometime tomorrow.

Then again, this could all be a false alarm.
