Just came out in the Philippines yesterday, watched with with a couple of friends.
In bland contrast to the fuck-up Miramax did with the dubbing in Shaolin Soccer, Columbia Pictures did an excellent job with the international release of Stephen Chow's new film, Kung Fu Hustle. The film's in Mandarin, and has English subtitles, the way Chinese movies should always be.
Brilliant comedy combined with amazing martial arts and computer graphics. Chow absolutely DELIVERS the goods.
Just wait til it hits U.S. shores later in the year.
