Okay first let me run down the Current Standing in my league.

Series: IV.60 (677)

1. M & M's - 27 points
2. Charlotte Jets- 25 points
3. Upstate Rangers 23 points
4. Upper 90 22 points
5. Altena Kickers 21 points
6. MimeBox 18 points
7. Salt City Storm 16 points
8. Running Bucks 0 points

Thats me in #2 Charlotte Jets. ( 2 points behind ) I got an easy game this Sunday against #6. The First place team M & M's plays #5 Altena Kickers. The kickers are a quality team with the abilty to win against M&M's. Altena already sent me a message and said they were PIC'ing this game and going to lose so they could assure them a Qualifier. Stating they know they will win the Qual..get extra money and extra training. I cant blame him...I might do the same thing myslef. What just completly SUCKS is that is they were to beat M&M and I win my game which I expect to. I would win the division.

Oh...well. I guess its like in the NFL needing help from another team to make the playoffs.

Gotta do what's best for your team, sadly that's often take a lower spot and get ready for a qualifier...

Also, why so angry at match throwing? you used to be so excited during them :)

Im at the edge of my seat as my Jets try to pull off the upset and clinch a disappointing but acceptable 3rd place

They know they will win the qually? They're risking the wrath of the HT-gods -- there are some damn good teams that will be playing promotion qualifiers out of V, and the spectre of the WTF is everpresent. As long as I am in IV, I will never prefer a qualifier to one of the non-qual spots for that reason.

hehe.. i noticed that iv.60 (my former serie) was crazy this season.. maybe i should throw my match, and mots his ass and knock him down to V. :)

Anything can happen in a qually. You know both teams will MOTS, regardless of current TS. The Hattrick gods are unforgiving. I personally, still would rather have 4th place than risk a qualifier. You never know who you'll end up playing.

oh, i quite agree... i just think it would be funny to swap places with him, that's all.
