Well, I've been getting my soccer fix on Comcast by Fox Sports World. Where I get a good amount of English Premier League, and once in a while some German Bundesliga and Brazilian soccer. However, a week or so ago, I noticed Comcast added 'Gol TV', which shows Italian Series A and the Spanish leagues as well. So now, I got all the major leagues covered :D. Way to go Comcast!! Now when American football season ends, I can watch some sports I like (well with the NHL off the table).

Good job, Comcast :D.

I'm going to start watching the Boro game in Fox World in about an hour (do NOT tell me what happens! :) )

I'm watching the Real Madrid v. Real Zaragosa game LIVE, during commericals of the Eagles game :D.

And I hear ya, CR. I have the Liverpool v. ManU game taped (well, DVRed) from yesterday and because of the football playoffs, I haven't seen it yet ;). I've been avoiding Soccernet since then. Though I did see the GREAT end to the Bolton-Arsenal game :D.

Yea, I think comcast added Goltv when they added that new On Demand service. Which BTW is one of the greatest things to happen to cable tv. Its freakin awesome, you can watch cable tv show or movie ANYTIME you want. I know its going to become a pay service but its sweet to have right now.

Hmm.. I've had On Demand for a while, so I know they added Gol TV after that, at least here in Atlanta :D. They recently added a lot of sports only channels. They had NFL TV, of course. Then a few weeks after that they added NBA TV. Now, Gol TV has been added.

Where do you live? They apparently don't have it everywhere (from what is says on their website). Check out the website and see if you are in where it is active.

I can't seem to find it on my comcast cable either. I sure hope I've got it somewhere. I just checked out the GolTV website and they've got on Barcelona vs. Real Sociedad this evening. I guess I'll have to give my cable company a call.

Thanks for the info. You would think one of the most "wired" places in the world would have it but noooo

What package do you need to have it? I have it listed, but it says I'm not "authorized."

This is my problem as well, I also get that message for the new Fox Sports digital channels.

Dang, we don't seem to have Gol! here; and FSN is an extra $6 a month or so. If I ever get a real job, though, I may have to get it.

It's the Digital Deluxe package, which is $5.00 more a month. It'll get you Fox Sports World, Fox Sports Atlantic, Fox Sports Central, Fox Sports Pacific, Trio, Fox Movie Channel, etc, and now, I guess, Gol TV. It's a great deal, IMO.

Tempting, but they are $5-dollar-a -monthing me into the poor house, and I've only had the service since Christmas (of course, they also gave me the free tickets to the Falcons game, so I shouldn't complain too much).

Hehe... well I got Digital Silver with the Digital Deluxe and DVR AND the High Speed Internet. Comcast is making a pretty penny off of me (~$130 a month)

Bastards. I'll bet we'll have it soon enough though. I've been itching to see a Barca game for years.

We just got the free On Demand service here in the bay area. I wonder why it took so long.

Hmm... you'd hope Comcast would be more integrated around the country with its features.
