The Surreal Life

I don't know if anyone's been watching this season. But I was up at like 4 am a few nights ago, and caught the first episode with the new cast (mini-me, peter brady, da brat, 2 models, wwe's chyna, and a chick from the Go-Go's).

Holy hell, that first episode was some great entertainment. If you guys havent seen it, check in for the last half hour. I've never seen anyone so drunk in my life.

Can't tell you if anything else on the show is good, but that was a great first episode, for sure.

In a related note, I happened to stumble on some show on VH1(?) that had Flava Flav and Brigitte Nielsen dating. I think this is some sort of "Surreal Life" spin-off or something. I couldn't look away. It was like a car wreck...

yes that was shown on WB channel

i guess they move there new season to VH1 now..

season 3 i guess it was, was on VH1 as well. with dave coulier, flava flav, jordan knight, etc. season 1 was the best, with vince neil and corey feldman.

its on about 13 times a day on vh1 i think. they re-run it to hell.

i find it fascinating that this "first male supermodel" is in the house, but has managed to completely stay off the cameras. does he even know how to speak?

I think the whole period that the show covers is only like 8-10 days, tho they make it feel like these people have spent months together.

This is the 4th installment, seasons 1 and 2 were on WB and 3 and 4 have been on VH1.
For whatever reason i've liked both VH1 versions so far, the celebs are all sincere it seems, nuts, but sincere, there seems to be very little faking going on. And I love seeing Da Brat act as if shes something special, talking about being in a house with has beens, oh the irony. The male supermodel seems to be very shy, he strikes me as a little dim but not stupid. Jane Wiedlin has always been a hottie and while shes bubbly she's not overly annoying. China is insane, but really insane, not fake insane. Peter Brady and the chick are both very down to earth people which really helps balance things out. And Minnie Me adds a neat dynamic, so far they havn't played him up as a freak and have really focused on what it must be like for him as a dwarf, I thought the segment with him and the kids was touching, if a little sad.

Surreal Life 3 was great! Coulier is so the man. And Brigitte Neilson and Flavor Flav are now hooking up, in the most disgusting pairing known to man... and they have their own show on VH1 ("Strange Love" - aptly named).

As for this season... HAHAHA, Mini-Me pissed on the floor while he was naked on his scooter, drunk off his ass!

OK, as this season has progressed, it has got nothing but better. It's simply amazing. I think everyone should check this out.

The first episode with mini-me drunk was classic, but every episode has been amazing. From models trying to get with a Brady to a former Go-Go crying at EVERYTHING to Chyna's ex-fiance (X-Pac) trying to steal her from the cast...its phenomenal TV.

What a train wreck house. I'm so hooked.

thats one thing i was surprised about. i always thought x-pac was this little guy, but he was just as big as chyna.

i guess x-pac only looks tiny in comparison to say, HHH.
