You know this was the week when we can all play each other, usually with starters and really get some good smack talking fun. There are a lot of good matchups tonight and if any of these teams didn't play a qualifier they should be playing starters. You would think that this would be the time to decide who has the bragging rights. Whats up? Where is everyone?

I threw down the gauntlet at FM earlier for insulting the Steelers, one of his players has already payed. I just hope that more fall before tonight is through, to avenge the infadel's rhetoric.

Not to mention the FOFC Cup finale!

Tell me about it, you're up 3-2 at the half, but I got possession with 55%. We'll be back, as Arnold would say...

Playing my 16th friendly match against the formidable Emmaljunga Heroes, my club eeked out a 1-0 victory with both clubs playing close to full strength lineups. I lead the series with 9 wins, 1 tie, and 6 losses. I have a slight edge in goal differential with a 25-21 advantage. Anyone else have a rivarly like this?

<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="2"> <tbody><tr><td>CC FC: </td><td>2 victories, 0 draws</td></tr> <tr><td>Averill Park Mercury: </td><td>3 victories, 0 draws</td></tr> <tr><td>Goal difference: </td><td>13 - 12</td></tr> <tr><td>
</td><td>
</td></tr></tbody> </table>
and

<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="2"> <tbody><tr><td>Swamioms FC: </td><td>1 victories, 0 draws</td></tr> <tr><td>CC FC: </td><td>3 victories, 0 draws</td></tr> <tr><td>Goal difference: </td><td>8 - 10</td></tr></tbody> </table>

i have a couple of 3 match "rivalries" (FM, TK)

Well, FM took me out 5-4 in Et. It was a good match, our stamina was waning though. I guess thats why we do stamina training. We will meet again though.

We're getting there...

West Fargo Stangs - Heaters 4 - 3 [HT Live] [Add this match to your bookmarks]

View game: HT Live

MatchID: 31734782
Arena: The Corral
Crowd: 2057

A scorching day at The Corral, where 2057 spectators were in place for today´s match. Stangs tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Sanecki - Lasonder, Iglesias, Jansson - Nessblad, Swanson, Presas, Sanda, Negĺrd - Adelland, Elstad.

Heaters tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Vik - Berthet, Williams, Künzer - Neil, Voss, Martínez, Dijns, Wilmer - Noppen, Rantanen.

After a fine move down the middle Juan Iglesias nearly gave the home side one up in the 2nd minute. The finishing shot went just wide, though. Stangs took the lead in the 22nd minute of the game by 1 to 0, as Magnus Adelland elegantly received a pass going deep, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Some brilliant football from the visitors right wing resulted in a 27:th minute levelling of scores as Heaterss Kev Williams equalised to 1 - 1. Martin Elstad gave his Stangs the lead with 2 - 1, as he successfully challenged both the guests central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the goaltenders right post. A speedy charge from the left side of the field put Stangs lead up with 3 - 1. Dorin Sanda finished that one off competently, firing from an acute angle. The teams went for a half-time break at 3 - 1. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Stangs, with an impressive 58 percent possession of the ball.

Stangss Jut Lasonder got himself booked after a foul. Albert Vik went down after a savage challenge, but could keep on playing after some medical attention. A bit later, a magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Stangs´s Martin Elstad putting the lead up to 4 - 1. After this Stangs lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. The referee showed Heaterss Antón Martínez the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. That Kristian Wilmer has the ability of doing what no one expects him to do was shown as he ran over an opposing defender, snatched the ball and passed Kazs Noppen who hit it hard into the wide open goal: 4 - 2! Heaters kept trying to force their way through on the right side. Kristian Wilmer got his chance in the 76:th minute, but the home sides left defence held his position and was able to stop the attack. Bernie Dijns behaved like an inexperienced youth player in the 86:th minute as he gave the ball away to an opponent. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Heaters fought on and, in the 87:th minute Kazs Noppen was able to reply with 4 - 3 after some excellent moves on the right side finished off by an incredibly clever chip. Stangs, bringing the final ball possession rate to 53 percent, dominated the battle.

The most dominating Stangs player was without a doubt Janusz Sanecki. Martin Elstad on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Heaters player was without a doubt Antón Martínez. Mikael Rantanen on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 3.

And West Fargo gets the win in the 3rd place FOFC Cup Match...was a good game.
