On the purchance that I actually acquire a supernatural midfielder for my top supernatural striker...

I know I need to get a new goalie.

My defenders are all solid at best, in fact, they're all solid at worst, but some have solid passing (and due to winger rules, I have one that is inadequate and one that is weak).

My goalies are solid, though one has weak experience.

My midfielders are like this:

passable stamina, outstanding PM, inadequate wing (my winger to mid)

excellent stamina, brilliant PM, POOR form, just moved up from wretched for 3 straight weeks (but I got him for a steal). Poor pass, weak defense

excellent stamina, brilliant PM, poor passing, inadequate defense

excellent stamina, outstanding PM, inadequate passing, weak defense (solid set piece)

POTENTIAL ACQUISITION (as in almost definite)

excellent stamina, supernatural PM, poor pass and defense
--------------------------

strikers are my bag, and I got a few

with the transfer out of one supernatural striker I still have:

21 supernatural striker with poor passing
20 world class striker with poor passing (potential U20 American?)
20 magnificent striker with weak passing
19 formidable striker with solid passing
19 excellent (soon to be formidable) striker with solid passing
20 passable striker with passable passing

I have a few small time players including a passable PM, solid defense (to be used offensive?)

Anyhow...do I sell one more of my strikers to acquire a better goalie, or do I find some other plan of attack? I think I may set one of the top PMs I have to offensive defender to boost possession, rather than sell off.

I really think this puts me over the hump in my dreary dark division, but I don't want to sell off too much of my attack, since that is what will keep me competitve.

Any insight would be welcome, or additional info will be given
Thanks

what about selling another striker buy a goalie and alternate between a 3-5-2 and a 3-4-3 ? That would allow your 2nd outstanding midfielder to play some competitive matches.
Sure you would loose a training spot but it might be worth it.

Else sell the supernatural striker, buy a good trainee next week and a good goalie.

Not out of the improbable, but the biggest problem would be losing a training slot.

If I sell the other supernatural striker that would leave me an attack of world class, magnificent, formidable, which should still be a nasty attack...the boost to midfield would be nice but I don't have another middie with adequate winging skills...

My thoughts were to play on of my former middies with inadequate defense and outstanding PM in the Offensive defender slot.

Sell my magnificent striker to concentrate on purchasing a goalie only (perhaps sell some role players for additional cash to do so).

I upgrade my stadium to 90k so I won't be having any funds in the coffers.

I was thinking drastically selling off the supernatural and the magnificent...keep the world class, bring up the the two other strikers (both with solid passing)...and with that cash, get a new goalie, upgrade my coach, and get some 18 year old trainees...

But I think that is rather rash...

It's just that I know I will be in good position but I don't want to dull my tip, my attack is the best thing I have.

I bought a titanic goalkeeper before my week 8 match last season. During my first seven games I gave up 18 goals, during my last 7 games I gave up 6 goals. As a scoring trainer, it was the best personal pickup I've made. I'd do whatever you can to get the best keeper you can.
