What's everyone paying now, I'm paying an extra $56,704 a week which will bring me to $158,344 a week.

I shouldn't be paying much more since i switched training last season, so no high skill level increases. Probably going from 190k to like 200k..

About half my players hadn't aged or had their wages adjusted so I'm still anxiously waiting to see what the damage will be.

My wage bill went up to 61k from 36k, but will drop by 11k in about 2-3 weeks when I sell my keeper that will be supernatural about that time. I guess that's the blessing of training keepers. Next season will be a bit different, though, since I'll be upgrading my team and switching training as soon as my keeper gets kicked out the door.

wow, you total wage bill makes me feel a bit better about mine... With 3 players not updated I'm looking at an increase from an initial wage bill of $81740 to an updated one of $104276, or an increase of $22536. Not all bad, considering my supernatural scorer took about half of that increase by himself...
One weird thing though. I have 6 of my players that, while they aged, didn't have any change in their salary. Anybody thinks it's normal, or should I expect to see more changes?

FM, if they're not nearing 30 or being trained I don't imagine their wages would change.

None of my old guys had their wages go down, not even one I know dropped skill in something even though I couldn't see what. So I dunno either.

Maybe you're right. We got used to have weird adjustments in the last few seasons, but they were due to special rules being enforced...
I still got God, who turned 33, who didn't change in wage, along with Lars Andersson who turned 28. One weird one is a wingback, who has received 9 weeks of winger training at the wingback position, the same as 4.5 weeks of full winger training. He should have gone up, even if only slightly...

Maybe the age/wage update don't run at the same time and the updates are just dragging out today? I really don't have a good explanation for you.

wages went from 79,160 ---> 128,924
not 'to' bad i guess, i'll be selling a WC middy in a few days, but i'll be replacing him with a WC goalie so it will still look about the same.

that's my main theory, that it's kind of lagging or something. I'll check them out regularly over the next couple of days and we'll see...
I didn't really expect anybody to have an answer, mostly asking to see if people had seen the same thing with their players...

but are you getting changes in wages to players you had already seen age? I've got players that have aged, yet their wages have not changed...

90k to about $135k (estimating because some young trainees haven't aged)

I'm happy with only a 28k increase.

Ow. My wages hurt: $105K -> $172K. It's time to sell a player or two this coming season.
My top middie went from 23K to 45K. Little's only up to 26K (yay! USA!). Two other middies went up 10K and then an 8K to 5K, to boot.

actually, same here, looks kinda weird to me since I don't have that many changes

60266 --> 100488 a significant jump but we probably cannot sustain that kind of jump for 2 long.

50k to 70k or so.

From 86k to 110k. Not bad. I was a little miffed that my largest jump was a midfielder. If I trained midfield, that would be different, but training wing, I thought it was excessive.

I went from $90,495 to $130,129 for a $39,697 increase. I'm just lucky 3 of my 4 highest paid players are American so the extra 20% is hurting too much.

Looks like from 341k to 423k or so. Would be 2nd cheapest team in ML BEFORE aging. So I should be in OK shape as far as that.

What kind of sponsorship money does MLS get? From what it looks like, your crowds aren't that much different than II or even III so does that give you some help with wages from week to week?

Two seasons ago, I was at 22k a week, last season 52k a week, this next season 75k a week. I can't keep affording this!

About $129 to $181k, so up around $52k
Selling a titanic mid likely around the midpoint of the season (hopefully while still in the cup) so that'll help.

from 44,415 € to 68,218 € (+23,803€)
Biggest jump for my star forward Daniel Georges, who had a 11,120 € increase (roughly 50% of my total increase)! Of course, he's on sale right now so hopefully I won't have to pay his wages for very long...

Ha! Very similiar to mine. I don't have my spreadsheet at work with me but I think I went from 18 something to 21 something. :)
I paid 157k€ for my whole squad last season.
This year I pay 176k€ for my A team (national french winger only went 0.2k€ as I trained him in PM) and 10k€ for my B team, so that's a 186k€ total (109k€ from my sole French Nat teamer winger ....)
so that's an 18% increase and a 30k€ increase

from about 80k to just over 140k so an increase of 60k this year, with my 3 best players increasing 42k of that. Luckily 1 of those will be sold, however I may have to consider selling at least one other player in the next 3 seasons, since My second best guy is only 21 and Supernatural.

SI asked:

I wanted to wait for week 1 to see to make sure.
Last week: 231 708 (few weeks before were similar i believe)
This week:279 340
Sponsor happiness is still rising/stabilizing, so it should be higher than that in a few weeks and all. If I had to guess, I'd say the difference is close to 100k/week.
Of course, attendances are not much different from II/III as you said. I refused to expand my 80k stadium (unless I felt I had a chance at finishing in top 2).
So it's plusses and minuses. Titans and Goons have crazy wages, but are at the "mature" team level where they can't improve much due to it and have poor depth. They also train up much further than I do. RSB's selling a divine striker. I've trained two players past ET ever.
I've gone the other way, with very servicable spare parts for most positions and the ability to tack on a player or two's wages if I need/want to. If I feel like "making a run", I can sell a titanic player and buy a magical-divine for the same price (or maybe even cheaper) and 2x-5x wages. Of course, long-term, this is potentially very harmful and I've avoided it in the past. I err on the side of caution usually.
Of course, this being my 8th season total in ML, and having finished above 4th only once, maybe I should be a little more aggressive this time around :). Wages are the lowest in ML (officially), at about 6k less than DoT, and about 40% of TT's.
