I have found tools that will help us and our curmudgeonly ways while not putting us at a disadvantage against others.

Two Firefox entensions that are indispensible

1. Foxtrick http://foxtrick.px.cz/?pg=Screenshots You can't go wrong with this one. I don't really like the skins, but I like a few of the little things like changing the stars, headshots, and the colored lineup positions (see below). It also does the auto hatstats ratings (see second shot).

2. HTRatings Translator http://www.hattrick.cl/htratings/index_en.html This is the one that works nicely in tandem: if you turn on the new ratings, you can display the old ratings right next to it (see the purple in the second shot).
