There are "bargains" to be had out there but it's taking quite a bit of patience to get them.

In 3 weeks, I've sold my 26yo mag/solid pass striker (3.9M) , 22yo titanic pm/inad def (5.5M), and oldish exc def/inad wing (600K).

Since then, I've bought a 21yo magnificent defender (2M), 22yo American extra playmaker (5.3M) and have 2M in the bank. So, in sum, I've unloaded an older striker since I'll be training forwards in a few weeks, a Swedish middie, and a spare part for a magnificent defender and a 1 level upgrade on midfield who is from USA.

So there are good deals out there. But it's taken looking at a lot of guys to find them. It's starting to feel like the old days of bargain hunting. But I think that's because at those levels, there's no one to compare them to so some people don't take the time and price out their players.

Unfortunately, it's also taking quite a while to sell some of my players. The striker took a week, middie two weeks, and I have 2 players who haven't sold in 2 weeks and now a new player for sale.

Heck, I'm still jealous of apoc. He plucked a young magical or mythical pm I had been watching last week for $6M because hardly anyone bid on him.
So, I guess the moral of the story is that with all the new stuff holding the market down, there's still room to make it work for you. But it takes a bit more time so plan accordingly.

Oh, and I like bragging about my new purchases. :D
