The same writer that wrote "Friday Night Lights".

Just picked this one up last night and I can't wait to get some time to read it. Sounds really interesting.

Interesting. I loved Friday Night lights, so I'll have to check this out.

Not sure how interesting a 3 game series in baseball is going to be for a book but I never would have thought a high school football season was entertaining either. I will have to pick up a copy.

I can understand, especially if you're not a Cardinals - Cubs fan, even though I'm a Cards fan, I think getting into LaRussa's head should be interesting. Maybe it will allow me to see what makes him tick... and make some of the calls he makes during the course of a game.
