View Full Version : Training!
Training, training time is near
I'm logged in, nothing to fear
I've been good, but I can't last,
Hurry, training, hurry fast.
Want a win in my league match,
Want my forwards to improve the attack!
I can hardly stand the wait
Please training don't be late!
Good luck, everyone!

Bleh training for me.
Expected 2 possible pops, neither came (grr).
Form was +1/-10 in levels. Granted, a lot of that is backups, which haven't been playing lately, but regardless. Worst/only really bad thing is one of my inner mid trainees, due to be sold as soon as he pops, has dropped in form to weak. Stupid punk.

A forward to passable form, which is a nice thing.
One pop to formidable, which was great news.

My recently acquired Formidable defender popped to Solid PM today, that was exciting.
In other news, my Supernatural forward got himself up to Passable form, and my World Class middie got himself up to Inadequate form, so things are looking up :)

Awaiting one last bump in playmaking but it didn't come. I guess it's next week that the Hippos finally change training.

A question for all the training gurus: What's the best way to track your training and then guesstimate when a player will pop? I currently use Hattrick Organizer and Hattrick Coach Professional, but I'm not quite sure what I need to be looking at in these two apps to find this info. Thanks in advance for your input.
I use excel for that. Works pretty well :). You can also use openoffice if you prefer

Is there a good link with a reference on how to guesstimate the approximate time it takes to pop?

The rule of thumb is this from Hattrix for 17yo's. Add about half a week for each year over 17:

Thanks SI. I've heard anything from an extra week per age over 17 to a 10% increase. Is the half a week increase a pretty good measure?

It's probably closer to 2/3rds but the math just starts to get nasty.
Oh, and could you extend a dope slap to John Randle next time you see him. Idiot. We could have used him this year.

SI,
It would have been nice to have Randle, but I'm hearing good things about the Green Machine (Clark and Gary). I'll be at the Spring Game this afternoon. I doubt the coaching staff will show us much, but I'm just anxious to sit in the bleachers again and see a few hits.
