I think I did, surprised people were scared off by his weak form. He's a 3 level upgrade for me at keeper and I plan on switching over to keeper training for 2 or 3 weeks (which is how long it will take) to get him to pop to brilliant then sell him for about a $700k profit.

Still very much trainable, as a former keeper trainer myself, 5 weeks w\solid coach is usually the norm. Previous owner trained him in keeper, so it could take less.

the owner told me he was 2 weeks from brilliant and hattri-x files seem to back that up as it says he's around 60% of the way to brilliant

If you are switching all the way over to keeper training, meaning getting all the goal tending coaches and what not, you could even train them to Magnificent. I just sold to Magnificent keepers for about 3.2M a peice. For 8 weeks of training for you, thats quite a chunk of profit.

yes I plan on switching over my coaches, it would be stupid not to IMO. I'm changing from PM to scoring training after next season anyways so I'm at least training him to brilliant, I'll have to look into how I want to proceed as far as training him to mag.

I was surprised that I got a 18 yo so close to brilliant for so cheap (using transfer compare)

Now the question is, why sell him? If your going to all this trouble to get him up, and don't have an equivelant keeper already, why not keep him? Keepers have a dramatic effect on defense, and a good keeper goes a long way to helping a 343 be successful. Just food for thought.

I figure I can net the profit and buy another outstanding keeper. My goal was to have an outstanding keeper but since this one is still trainable and so close to brilliant I'd be dumb not to train him up a level since it won't affect my switch to scoring training at the end of next season (I charted out when all my PM trainees are scheduled to pop)
