The problem with a study like that is you need volunteers. And how many guys with small ones are going to volunteer to be measured?

And why would they mesaure them flacid? Measuring it flacid doesn't seem to be as reliable as measuring erect. And who really cares how big it is when flacid anyway??

I don't know the pros and cons of measuring flaccid vs. erect. Is there a correlation that would make the measurements indistinguishable? I don't know; I can't say I've ever tried it or given much thought to it.

The only interesting thing to come out of this is the suggestion that men with higher BMI's tend to have shorter penises. I think conventional wisdom (and by that, I mean guys talking about this stuff on messageboards) was that the fatter you get, the fatter your penis becomes. I think most men assumed an increase in width, if not length, but certainly not a decrease in size.
