View Full Version : Possibly Stupid Printer/Copier Question

Okay, this may be stupid, but I'm going to ask anyway.

I have one of the All-in-one printer/scanner/fax/copiers, and I need to print or copy something that is quite a few pages (upwards of 800 or so). I figure I'll need an extra ink cartridge anyway, but my question is: Will there be a difference if I copy it or print it in the amount of ink it uses? In other words, will one use less ink than the other or will it be the same either way?

DOLA

I'm assuming it will use the same amount as it's one black ink cartridge. I'm just checking to see if anyone knows something I don't.

Depending on what you're using the printed stuff for, try printing on "draft" quality.

Nah, can't do that. It has to look nice, and draft is lighter, correct?
