Anyone else seen this movie? What the fuck happened in it? I loved the pacing, acting, general feel of the movie. I think I understand it, but I honestly don't know if I have a grasp on exactly what ended up happening.
A great rental or buy if you're in for a sci-fi mindfuck. Perhaps a 2nd viewing will clear things up.

I saw it and was a little disappointed. I get the theme and plot (which was a good one), but it just didn't match up with other similar baselines for this genre in Momento and the Machinist.
Still, it's worth a rental (esp if you have netflix or blockbuster.com).

*vague spoilers below*
I just finished watching it and also found myself a bit confused by the ending. I really need to think it through.
Regardless, a well done independent movie.
I saw it. I didn't really care much for it. It didn't confuse me (although it was complicated), I just thought it wasn't very good.

Most of all it is a damn impressive effort for a $7,000 budget.

I rented this movie this past weekend, and feel the exact same way. I enjoyed it, and I like to think I was on the cusp of grasping it, but when trying to explain it to my wife I'd end up getting myself crossed up. It didn't help that she'd start going cross eyed as I was talking.
I did come across this official message board for the movie, and it did answer several questions, but also created several new ones.

I enjoyed it as well, but I need to watch it about 10 more times before I'm even close to understanding it. I tried to draw it out on paper on just made a complete mess.
I love the fact that this guy used to be an engineer, hated his job, and went into filmmaking. He and Jim are my heroes.

Just got done watching it. It's 100 times better than Memento imo. I also think I didn't understand it, but that was part of it's charm.

I watched it a week or two ago. I thought it was pretty good.
I think my favorite thing about the movie is that they purposely left some things unexplained so as a viewer you have to work to put all of the pieces together. (Spoiler example: The whole situation with Mr. Granger is never fully explained, but the viewer can safely assume roughly what has happened.) I just think it is refreshing to watch a movie that doesn't assume the viewer is stupid and needs everything spelled out to them.

My guess is that Shaun (oir whatever the "evil" one is) told him, because he just needed a reason to get Abe on the same page (i.e. go all the way back to the beginning to help with his "hero" plan, and to understand what he understood).

According to the commentary the writer had never actually committed to why the Granger thing happened but his interpretation was that somewhere in the future something bad had happened with the shotgun boyfriend guy and in desperation Abe told Mr. Granger.

It was a bit technical but personally I liked it. The fact I've been thinking about it days after seeing it is the test.

And to think, for $7,000 bucks the director could have easily done a remake of "Plan 9 From Outer Space".
