Anyone got interesting match today?

Me, i'm playing the 6th place team (i'm in 8th and relegated) and he needs 1 point to guarantee a qualifier. If he loses and 7th wins, 6th'll be the other autodemoter...

My match is not interesting at all. I've locked up 6th, so I'm running out the reserves to protect against suspensions. My opponent doesn't have a lot to play for, but 2nd place vs. 3rd place is riding on the match. Since he won't have a qually, all of his offseason fan spirit will be riding on the match as well. Needless to say, it could get very ugly.

My match is semi interesting....I've locked up my series last week with a 1-0 win..I am playing the 2nd place side who has done some changes to his team to expressly win one game...today's match...a win by me assures me of being an autopromote to D IV, a draw or loss puts me in a qualifier.

My series is somewhat interesting. 1st place is locked up, and I get the priveledge of losing to them today(not that I'm even trying to win, mind you). 2nd through 5th are seperated by 4 points, I'm currently in 3rd. 2nd plays 4th, 5th plays 6th I believe. If all goes as I wish they would, 4 will beat 2, 5 will win easily, 1 will beat 3, and I'll finish 5th, otherwise I'll be in 4th which would truly blow in my opinion.


With my best IM out with injury, only winger in good form red carded, I'm just playing reserves as I absolutely don't want to win. Now watch 1 throw the damn game, man I'd be ticked.

I have a chance to decide who wins my series, I have 3rd sealed with miniscule chances of finishing 2nd or 3rd, for 1st the 2nd place team must lose vs. the 4th and I must win my 9...

The scenerio I can realistically root for is me winning or drawing and the 2nd place team winning and getting out of the series :) I fear him more then the current 1st place.

I am in 7th place, 3 points behind the 6th place guy. I play the 6th place guy and I have a better goal differential, so it is basically a win and I'm in a qualifier. A loss or tie and I'm relegated.

At already relegated Cyclones. A win would give me 2nd in ML, a personal-best. Form's OK and everyone's healthy/available. Both teams will undoubtedly MOTS.

My payroll's lowest in ML by a decent amount, although that will likely change next season.

I've got a pretty uninteresting match. I mean, it'll be number 1 (him) at number 2 (me). He's already got 1 locked up, but will have a qualification match to promote (to IV). I believe he's PIC'ing, and I've done the same in return...no sense giving my other series mates a good view of what my squad is capable of if I don't need to. :)

Should be a tight match, but with nothing really "on the line," I'm not sure how "interesting" it will be.

I clinched my series a few weeks ago and have a 10 point lead, so this week is only to decide whether or not I autopromote. I'm facing the 3rd of 4th place team and shouldn't have any problem with the match save for some fluke.

This is what happened. Drosties happened to lose too. I now face Swedish Team of IV.48 with 3 of my top 5 IMs (two starters) injured and muderous TS to stay in III.

I beat the 2nd place team 8-0 to finish with 40 points (damned WTF draw) and an 80-4 goal differential. My keeper posted 11 clean sheets. I think it's safe to say that I've 'graduated' from division V. Now all that's left is just to figure out where I auto-promote to.

5-1 victory, won my series with 40 points and a GD of 63-14. Now just waiting to see where I end up.

I burned a WTF result (boo!) by losing by only one goal in a total throwaway match where I was completely outclassed. The good news is that the only starter I played didn't get ejected (but I would have been nervous watching the match as he drew an early caution). On to the midweek friendly, which is actually (and beneficially for me) a semi-competitive match involving (fnord) against HT-Sundsvall. Knock on wood that I don't draw any injuries in that one.

i had a walk over and already clinched a 3rd place spot. but the interesting thing in my series was the race for the leading goal scorer.
a player on my team and the series winner both had 15 goals after week 13. like i said earlier, i had a walk over, so i was stuck at 15. the series leader played the 7th place team and beat them 8-1, but their player with 15 goals was unable to find the back of the net :) 8 goals and none was from the one guy they needed to score.
so we tied for series goal leader.

You'll win easily. I put a bunch of crappy backups in there to avoid further injury :P
