i frequently have turds that are so wide that they won't flush without me getting either the plunger or the little toilet-brush to break them up. Literally almost every single time. I've even been known to clog commercial-strength toilets with them.

Ive found that the wider ones are usualy alot heavier and solid. Hence I don't think that bran is the culprit. When I see a saw brown, light and fluffy doodie, thats the bran working.
