I guess 5 long-haired Swedish guys playing bombastic pop-metal and singing a song about the Cherokee Indians was probably a tad corny.

Sorry, I just flipped on Metal Mania on VH-1 Classic and Europe's video for Cherokee hit me square in the face. I was ill-prepared.

Coincidentally, I discovered today that the band released an album late last year.

Of all the bands I had a chance to meet back in the day (not that many, but still), these guys were easily the biggest bunch of jerks of the lot of them.

I don't know if I would call the songs "good", but the lead singer was HOT!!!!! :)

Unless you're really into egomaniacs who think women are sort of their devine right by virtue of their status as a Rock God, I don't think you would have liked him up close nearly as well as you did from a distance.
