From Chicago. Brewster (31-2, 27 KOs) takes on Golota (38-5-1, 31 KOs) in the 12-round main event. 8.45 pm CT

Finally! a main attraction boxing event in the great city of Chicago. It's been wht...oh about 40 + years.

I am not really impressed by either of these two although Brewster did KO Wladimir Klitschko over a year ago. Andrew Golota reminds me more of a cheat in the ring. Rumor has it he is/was pumped-up on roids in order to get fit for this fight.

It looked awfully weird to see Championship and Golota in the same line. But then, boxing lost it ways years ago in the heavier divisions.

Weirdest thing is this is his 3rd title fight in 3 tries. Draw with Chris Byrd then lost to John Ruiz in his previous 2 fights.

There were two hits in that fight.

Brewster hit Golota, Golota hit the floor.

Guess the 'roids didn't help his glass chin.

The wife is away this weekend and I was all set to enjoy a boxing match which I usually don't get to do when she's around. My popcorn hadn't even finished popping...:(

I love this quote from Golota after the fight.

``I cannot believe this happens to me every decade,'' Golota said, referring to the Lewis fight. ``Maybe it's time for me to think about leaving boxing.''

I think that's the first fight I've *ever* seen where either of the fighters came out swinging. Usually they dance around each other for about 9 rounds before anything happens.

Short as all hell, but exciting to watch.
