Are being calculated by my deep and cunning brain. Also I'll be updating league match stats to include attendance and weather occurences as they've been requested. Soooo what do you want to see in a cup stats, I've got a few things that I want to do.
1) Flag cupsets
2) Count home/away matches
3) Final round count
4) Win/Loss Percentage
5) Rating averages as well as match display, as well as averaging all the above nuggest of stat glory
I can do more if I deem it worthy :-) so post your suggestions here. FYI, I'm porting all my code to a more powerful machine in addition to making tons of updates, so week 1 stats for season 26 might be a bit delayed. This is mainly due to a fairly pathetic technical issue. I was running all this stuff on a laptop using a dialup connection. The laptop has a busted cd rom drive so it won't read discs any more. It also doesn't have a NIC card so it's not like I can network it easily. I had the presence of mind to upload all my source to my webserver, but some key stuff was forgotten, mainly my test database. Which shouldn't be an issue since I'm gonna rebuild all my stats anyway. To make this rambling a bit shorter, I forgot to do some stuff, but it shouldn't be an issue in the future because of the massive updates I've got planned.

Wow. I had never seen your site before- those are awesome. :D
Only one suggestion to add for the cup ratings (or maybe I just didn't see it)- have record and GD by series.

akickku, you site speeds like lightning. Mine is slow as hell. How could I improve my "site speed" ?

Well its probably poor database design, but I don't care. I was having speed issues until I seperated my data. I've got all my league data seperated by season instead of in one massive database. It's cheating but it works.
well, I have all data separated by season already, but was planning on merging them all for easier sql requests. And I know my database design is not great :)
Plus I do some caching on my pages (generate them once and then, they have a TTL of 86400 seconds), hence not generating sql resuests each time.
Gotta consult my MySQL gurus again :p

I don't scan non USA clubs so that might take additional programming.

Would be nice to have them again.

I've posted info through week 25.14... if FrogMan isn't up to continuing to do them, I can post rankings as well when I do week 26.01 (planned for tonight). The downside would be that you would lose a few of the things he keeps track of (e.g. team age in weeks), I track highest-ever rating by date and not by week, and my rating history for highest-ever rating and/or ranking might not be accurate since I don't have any history for before I started downloading the data.

Dola, my biggest problem is that I'm pushing the limits on my webspace quota, so I'd be a bit limited in how much history I could keep. I haven't actually checked where I sit quota-wise, but with a full season of both USCHO and BigSoccer rankings in the space currently, I've got to be pretty close.

Double-dola, I think I've calculated rankings through 25.14 for FOFC, so while I could also post rankings for that week, any earlier rankings would still show the current max ranking and max rating data.

Where are the FOFC stats posted, btw?

The info that I've posted is in threads names like "Ratings for week 25.14". FrogMan's most up-to-date rankings I think get posted to the same threads, or else to threads with "Ranking" in the title. His website can be found in the sign-up thread.

Wouldn't be too much of an issue for me to host it. I could setup an fofc ftp account if you'd like.

That would be great; I don't want to go ahead with anything unless we have a hand-off from FrogMan, though.

Frogman has a serious FM2005 addiction(as do i), so i don't think it will be a problem :)

Working on coding it actually.

Tho it looks like the coding is still being done on the cup stuff, I've gotta say that ever since getting the link added to Foxtrick, your site is what I use to do game planning- it's great. Fast, reliable, clean to read, but full of stats.
For anyone not using this yet, shameless bump :)
And for people on Foxtrick, it's the little American flag.

What kinda game-planning do you do with Akicku's site SI?

I love being able to, at a glance, see trends as to which side a player favors, strongest part of the team, etc. There's still no substitute for looking at previous match reports but this is a good quick way to get a cursory glance at what's going on.

Oh...duh. Yeah I guess you can find R/C/L breakdowns. Good point. I just always counted on Hattrix Backdraft for that. Same thing minus the pics I guess. :)

I use HT-DoG for the R/C/L stuff. HT-Disarmer of Giants. It's also available as a link using Firefox/Foxtrick.

Isn't backdraft one of the pay services, tho? I remember it was nice when it was free, but not worth the money for it.

Backdraft is definitely for pay, which is unfortunate. I use the analysis tools in HT Buddy to do the same thing.

Oh yeah...it's turned into a paid service, but it was fairly cheap and I like how they have the lineups listed all on the same page.

Oh yeah...it's turned into a paid service, but it was fairly cheap and I like how they have the lineups listed all on the same page. What's annoying is how it seems to be the only thing that correctly does the upper-bound economists calculations correctly. HCP claims I need 2 more economists to max and the charts usually just deal with the $500k-$1mil range.
Just a FYI (for ackikku), ahem, my caching system was relying on a "undefined" variable making all pages generate each time... Now that the cache is working, my site speeds like lightning too :)
