What sort of forward can I expect to get for $3 million or thereabout? Should I go less on the scoring to get a bit more passing, or more scoring with weak passing?

For example, should I go:

magnificent with weak
brilliant with inad
Hopefully you get the idea.

I vote heartly for #1, IF everything else is equal. By that, I mean your cash situation. I consider weak secondaries to be "free" while inad you have to start to sompensate for. So I'd look at it this way...4 levels of passing for $0, or 5 levels for $350k. I'm cheap, and don't worry about 1 level of passing, so I pocket the $$ and move on with the higher scorer(which effects wing attacks WAY too much) that will give higher attack ratings.

i have always heard that 2 levels of passing make up 1 level of scoring. whether or not that is true, i dont know. but using that, option 1 would be better since the passing is only 1 level difference. it would take a passing of passable before i would go with option 2.

passing only assists the central attack. Meanwhile scoring effects all 3 attack ratings. So therefore, as long as money (i.e. salary) isn't an issue you should always go with the guy with more scoring and less passing

Go with the Mag scorer. It's always best to buy the higher scoring when you can afford salaries. If we were talking ET vs. Titanic, I'd opt for the higher passing/lower scoring to keep wages under control. But at Brilliant/Mag level, go for the higher scoring rating.

You play with wingers so just load up on the highest scoring you can get. Feels like I'm helping the enemy.

Thanks for the input.

akickku, I am not, at least for now, the enemy anymore. :)

dola...

of course for saintjo, I can't say the same thing at the moment (though FoG is not much of a threat, either).
