Just bought a new computer. FOFC was the first site that I bookmarked. I bookmarked the front page of the forums, however, I'm getting a few strange issues. My security settings are at Medium, which always worked well on my other computers. However, whenever I bring up FOFC, I am logged out, even though I have the "remember me" box checked. Occasionally, my bookmark sends me to the FOFC main page, rather than the front page of the forums. Also, all threads are marked as unread, even after I look at one and return to the main general discussion screen. Plus, IE lists each page, even this one, with the "frontofficefootballcentral.com" URL. Any thoughts?

dola

When I created the thread, and clicked on "General Discussion" at the top of the page to send me back, it logged me out again.

When you get to the main page, instead of just clicking on "Forums", right click and select "open link in new window". Then set your bookmark, and that will fix your bookmark problem.

IE is probably not allowing Gamespy to save a cookie onto your computer, forcing you to log in every time.

Go to Internet Options > Privacy > Sites

Locate the gamespy.com site > click the Allow button

I did that ^^^ as an attempt to fix it myself. This time, the bookmark loaded the main FOFC page, but I was logged in, and my threads were correctly marked.

I'll try that trick about the new window and see if that fixes my main page issue.

Thanks!
