As of early this morning, the USA Hatstats site (http://usa.hatstats.info ) is running on a new server that I have purchased for use for both Hatstats and some other projects. Because of the amount of space available on the server, division 6 has been added to the site as well, so now Hatstats covers all of the teams from the USA.
I would appreciate any feedback you have regarding the performance of the server as I have 30 days to figure out if it will work out, or if it will need more resources.
You can send feedback via HT-mail or email at
[email protected].
I would like to thank Griggle for all his hard work getting the server up and running yesterday, and for trying to teach me a thing or two about it at the same time =)

Yeah real great. Having division VI would have been great when I was actually in division VI. :)
No, I think your site is great and am just happy that I'm able to look at my division V series this season.

The performance is outstanding right now. Thanks for taking this on!
I've found one little hitch, on the series records page, the star image isn't loading properly.

Yea, it's running great. Much improved over last season.

did our time get bumped back up or is it due to the new server that USA was updated a lot faster than previous weeks?

Well, obviously, if we're not running on the same server as the rest of Hatstats, we can update when it suits us, rather than having to wait in line for the scarce resource (bandwidth) to be devoted to updating us.

Updates should occur directly after the games on Sundays and Wednesdays, so yes, no more waiting on the bandwidth of the other Hatstats server. Sunday's update was done in about 5 hours and that included adding all the division 6 teams, so I'm hoping it will go quicker this week. Either way it will be done by the next morning when I wake up =)

Well, as a Div VIer, I appreciate being able to see where my series stands. I guess it makes me feel somewhat better to know that VI.269 is 33rd hardest out of 1024 divisions. Still depressing to be in VI, but I don't think I'd survive in V right now with the way my guys are playing.

Am I the only one for whom Hatstats is not working?
When I go to usa.hatstats.info there is nothing there. All fields are empty. When I try to put my series in for a search, it says 'wrong season.'
Is the site messed up or is my system messed up?

It might be a problem with your ISP or something, maybe DNS cache issues? I'm pulling up your series with no problems.

What are ya'll talking about updating? Isn't the site just on a web page and you simply view the stats? I don't see any link/button/option to download or update anything.
Is there functionality I'm missing or an app like HAM to download and update your team with?

The updating they are referring to is the web page updating itself. There is nothing that you need to do. (Or are able to do, for that matter)

Since it's just me, what do I look at to try to fix it? (obviously I am a novice at this stuff, since I don't know where to look for DNS cache or any other possible solution)
