Just curious. I have a franchised RB (Kevin 'Chief' Wiggins (http://www.fof-ihof.com/player/player.php?playerid=973)) in IHOF who has been underachieving this season. I haven't signed him to a new deal because his demands are too high. Is there much evidence that franchised players who aren't given new contracts tend to phone it in out of spite?

I've never seen anything like that.

I don't think so. Cris Richardson is doing just fine this season.

Probably just having a 'down' year and will do much better next season, or he may be running out of gas and will finally be hitting the "scrap heap" before long.

That's a good part of the reason why I opted not to sign him to a long or bonus-heavy contract. Basically anyone who has gotten significant carries on my team this season has a better ypc than the Chief.

Maybe he should try a croissant.

Don't remind him of the Paris days! :p

lol.

Yeah, seriously, Cris Richardson is a good example of journey-man who keeps producing despite switching teams basically every season. That feat alone, in my books, make Richardson a Hall-of-Fame caliber player.
