look for the red wings to announce they are letting him go soon. got word from a decent source about this. they have someone else in mind, was all i was told. couldn't tell me whom even though he knew
odd move, at least for someone who doesn't follow hockey all that closely

Bowman isn't the coach anymore... They let go of Dave Lewis and are probably hiring Mike Babcock.

The Red Wings follow hockey about as closely as a team can, I would imagine.

I think the new coordinators this year will really fit in with the team and push it over the hump. The new coordinators last year just didn't fit. The new offense and defense will be more like the previous offense and defense which should help with the confusion. The offense and defense lastr year were just too different from the previous year's offense and defense which took a while to adjust to after the previous years coordinator's were fired just when the team started to adjust from the previous year's coordinators.
One thing you can always count on Wayne to do is fire them coordinators!

...and watch out for Tampa Bay. With Steve Young and Bo Jackson they could be potent on offense. I don't know why, but for some reason I see Tampa as sort of a combination of San Fransisco's passing game and the Raiders' running. Sure, Bo said he won't play for the Bucs, but once that money is put in front of him I think he'll get hip.
And mark my words: the defense is in fine hands with this hot-shot assistant Fontes in charge. He could be head coach material very soon.

It all goes to the trading of Hershell Walker. Worst trade ever. And don't even get me started on Jimmy Johnson. He'll never adjust to the pros. I mean, Tom Landry should be in Dallas for eternity. I suppose Johnson thinks that he'll win a few Super Bowls in Dallas and then go back to Miami and push Shula out of a job next.
Oh, and as for UM. The'll be fine. Erickson is a damn good coach. I think he'll be an even better pro coach than Johnson one day, and even after he wins national championships in Miami and leaves UM will just continue to win!

Do you really think he deserves the respect of having his name remembered correctly?
I think the Cowboys made a big mistake with their recent trade of Steve Walsh. He's a born winner and will be much better than that Aikman guy. I can't believe they only got a first, second, and third round pick for him.
