EA Sports Nascar game

Does anyone on here play the EA Nascar game? I was thinking about getting it, but I have no idea where in the "cycle" we are right now. I don't want to get 2005 if 2006 comes out soon, but I was guessing it comes out around the first of the year just before the Daytona 500. Can anyone confirm?

I think it usually comes out around October.

Dola, Nascar 2005 was released on August 31, 2004. Nascar 06 is slated for an August 30, 2005 release date.

nascar 2005 was not release for the pc this year. it was replace with Nascar sim racing.
