I've been following a woman for several months now, and was wondering what my next move should be. The woman is an attractive lady, and is nice looking. She is Canadian though. I've actually been lucky enough to have a woman on the inside - one of my longtime friends is good friends with her and has been feeding me information for the entirety of this mess. Here's the basic timeline:
June 5th - Answer advertisement in local personals asking for studly men that are well hung.
June 13th - Get called in for lunch, which I have with the Woman, and my friend. This goes very well.
June 21st - Get a email from my friend letting me know that the lunch went well, and I am either the first or second choice of all parties involved to become her BF.
June 27th - Get another email from friend, telling me that she is ready to go ahead with making a decicision , but her father wants to wait a little but longer to try and find more skilled applicants, even thought this is more or less an entry level position.
July 10th - See friend at a party, and get word that I will be called back for another lunch date, more or less a skills checkup.
July 12th - Get called on for a second lunch date. I am grilled by the two bodyguards on my knowledge, and pass with flying colors. The head bodyguard personally takes me on a tour of her facility after the test.
July 18th - Get called to come in and fill out an application in full.
July 21st - See my friend again. He says that they are 99% sure that they are going to select me. Once again, the father is holding up the process, and the daughter doesn't have the balls to force the issue. Meanwhile, the woman is getting desperate and horny.
August 2nd - See my friend again, but there's no change in status.
I have not heard anything since. I'm wondering if it is advisable to ask somebody for more information, and if I should ask her father or the bodyguards, or just take her out and get her drunk. I know the arranged marriage world moves at a snail's pace, but this is getting ridiculous.

Call him up and just ask about the expected decision date. Just asking may lead to him setting a final deadline in his head...and if he gives you a date and you don't hear anything by that point, just fuck her in the ass and move on.

Wait until she says something like: "I'd like a relationship where I can just jump into it and not go through all this tedious getting to know each other bullshit."
Then, look her in the eye and start laughing, say : "Nope you're not looking for a quick relationship. You're looking for someone who can inspire you... take your breath away and expand your creative horizons again... You want to breathe and know there's still beauty in the world that can dazzle you... and for someone to show you that."
She will, without a doubt, say: "Yes! Yes that's exactly what I mean!"
At this point, you should grin, leap on your feet, walk over on the blanket to her and take her hands.. pull her up... say: "What you're looking for is someone to lift you off your feet and show you how to fly again... to live again..."
Later, looking back on it now, you'll swear there was a sparkle in her eyes and that you probably should have at least kissed her hands... you will think you saw that moment in her face... then, just as you were about to, you paused and waited too long... so she laughed, said you were a dork and you both ran off to pick blackberries again together.

Oh, here we go. Another American boy with Tundra Fever. Look, I don't care what you've heard about Canadian women; those are just urban legends. Why are most of the Canadians on this board single? Because all the fine Canadian girls are dating guys from Cleveland and Poughkeepsie and Walla Walla. You impress them with your big cars and low personal income taxes and fancy indoor plumbing, and they never look back. Well, I've had enough of it.
STAY AWAY FROM OUR WOMEN, YANKEE.

I'm never going to live this down, am I? :D
Sad thing is, last time I talked to her, things were strained because I actually asked her out on a date and that spooked her.

This is not true. This almost never wins them over.

Thank you so much! That's permanently copied to a Notepad file, just in case of "accidental" FOFC deletion.
