2) followed by: "I didn't even know he was sick."

yeah dude, you work at a job where you can surf the net all night. might want to check the news every now and then...

Actually it was that George quit and then came in and pretended like it was a joke. It's based on Larry David quitting as an SNL writer and regretting it cause he was going to lose so much money so he went back and stayed for the rest of the season.

Heh, the fiancee' asked me last night if I knew that Peter Jennings had died. Of course, she's been busy the past couple of weeks finishing up school so she has a bit of an excuse...
