When we purchased our house, my wife said I could decorate one room--a wise choice given my cluelessness of co-ordination and colors. I told her I wanted a baseball room, which she said she was ok with, IF I could get my uncle to give us this one photo my late aunt had hanging in their hallway. It's from the Late 50's/early 60's and has a little boy praying and the caption reads ". . . And please let the Cubs win the Pennant." Little did she know, my uncle had already agreed to give it to me. She painted the room blue with red and white trim. There is that picture, replicas/actual ads dating back to the teens, a collection of prints from a ballpark artist, team photos from the 50's thru 70's. I'll sit in there listen to games off the net and play OOTP or read from my ever growing baseball library. I'm, like the girl in the song, 'baseball mad.'
