How long is Beasley and EJ out for?

A win over Mexico and we are in the 2006 competition, right?

We are at worst going to be in the 4th place playoff.

I'm not sure about DMB, EJ could be back just about any time as he's resumed playing for Dallas. Fortunately, it turned out to be a stress fracture and not turf toe as originally diagnosed.

Dola, anybody else worried about JOB not being able to finish the game?

Was at the game -- nice performance, but finishing could have been a little more effective. I think O'Brien is still just getting worked in.

O'Brien, Reyna, and Convey were fabulous in the midfield, while Ralston continues to be a total disaster and complete schmuck out on the field. I don't know what he is doing with the US national team!

God, we just need to start putting some of those chances away. It probably should have been about 5-0. Once we get into the box the attack just dies.

O'Brien hardly played a game the past 1 1/2 seasons. You got to give the guy a break for getting back in his WC2002 shape.

I think this is going to be our biggest problem in the WC. I like McBride, but he's not a world class striker ... and the depth at this position is poor.

You'd think with all the track stars we have in the US we could come up with someone with Michael Owen type speed (and maybe slightly better finishing) to pressure the defense consistently.

He took a pretty good elbow right on the hip and on the reply noticeably winced... other than his injury history this is nothing to worry about as the injury isn't to a muscle or ligament.

As I said on Bigsoccer... We aren't going to do jack at Germany 2006 if we can't finish any better than that. That was shameful.
