Lessons learned from my first two attempts at this:
1) TB1 was a pain for handling large groups of fighters
2) Reporting on each and every group took forever
3) Having a lot of small groups doing round robin tourneys takes forever

What has changed:
1)TB2 is out and is far superior to TB1 for handling large groups of fighters.
2) I am only using fighters that are Rated an overall 6 or higher (cuts down on the number of fighters involed significantly)
3) I will be using larger groups, so it cuts down on the time it takes to report the results.

And the rest...

Sab's Greatest Boxer Tournaments Series return

Rated > 6 Strawweights: 99

Strawweights Round 1

13 groups of 7 and 1 group of 8. Every fighter will fight all of the fighters in their group twice. Top 5 in every group moves on.

Pre Round 2

We have 70 boxers. Thefighters ranked 63rd to 70th will fighter it out in an 8 man single elimination tourney with the 2 finalist moving on to the next round.

Strawweights Round 2

64 fighters left. Break into a regular 64 entry tournament (top 16 get seeded). The first round will be a best of 3 series.

Strawweights Round 3

32 left. Continue on with Best of 3 series.

Strawweights Round 4

16 left. Continue on their brackets as a regular single elimination tournament (1 match, winner moves on, loser leaves) until we have a winner.

EDIT: Took out 2 fighters to make it 99 total and had to redo a bit of the format.

No Yuri Arbachakov Sab?
He's a Flyweight (and yes, he'll be in the Flyweight Tourney)

Sab, I am guessing that you would tell me the 15 bucks is we worth it for the upgrade, right?
Very much so. The added History section (everythign is tracked and available) is worth it alone. There are still some minor, annoying bugs, but it's in a far better state than most games (including text sims) are when they're released. And importing databases from TB1 is a little iffy. The way Performance Points are handled has been completely redone so that causes some issues with importing TB1 databases (mainly the rankings are out of whack at first).

But yeah. Several routines in the matches were redone (cuts can reopen now for one, fouls can have lingering effects is another, etc.), having a fighter list with sortable columns, rankings were overhauled, and a ton more.

If you liked TB1, the $15 upgrade is more than worth it.

Round 1 Tie Breaker Matches

Group 1: Joma Gamboa vs. Noel Arambulet (1-1 vs. each other)

Gamboa controled the action early on. In the 4th round, a gash appeared over Arambulet's right eye. It was a bad cut and in the first minute of the 5th round, the fight is stopped.
Gamboa wins by TKO in the 5th and advances to round 2.

Group 5: Sizwe Sinyabi vs. Surachai Saengmorakot (1-1 vs. each other)
