I am trying to merge old video's from work - including a lot of historical flight video -- with music. So we can then burn it all to DVD and keep it forever (right now the video is on VHS).

I am using Adobe Premier at work, but I'd like to work some things at home and can't afford to buy Premier.

Any suggestions on what I could use to work with this kind of stuff away from work? Freeware, Shareware, or software that does this sort of thing for $50 or less?

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Adobe Premeire Elements or Ulead Video studio appear to be your <a href="http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-3670_7-6257613-1.html" target="new">best bets.</a>

Sweet, Ulead Video Studio can be had for just over $50. It might be a "you get what you pay for", but for as limited use that I need, I'm sure it can't go wrong.

Thanks!
