Well, I'm an idiot I guess. I was under the impression that the premium briefcase on Yahoo would allow public links that stay permanantly live. No dice.

I cleaned up yer pirate a little.
When I saw this line, I just pictured some guy with a mullet shaven off, stuffed into a suit, but still with a peg leg sticking out one of the pants legs and a parrot on his shoulder. "Arr, have you seen my briefcase, dear?"
