1 extra cd : Sierra (or other recruited def)
2 cd offs : Fortunato, (other recruted IM with some def / or Sierra)

2 IMs : Amoudry, Herbin
1 off wingr : Vuolama (Lenaour, who gets 4* as off winger)

2 forwards : Emch, Junkari (Elbaek)

So my trainees set is
- Llorden : sat as wb
- Modesto : sat as wb
- Fortunato : sat as cd off
- Sierra : sat as extra cd
- other recruited PMer : sat cd off

- Aggelakopoulos : wed as wb def (the young guy is only solid, so will be trained-less on 9 trainees spot weeks)
- Ferroni : wed as cd
- wesierski : wed as cd
- bruehlman : wed as wb def
- other recruited def : wed as cd

Actually, that could be the complete package since that would take me to 9 trainees (IMs as cd offs inculded as they take training spot).
Maybe, I just need to get another def for the weeks I play 532 on saturday too.

Ok, guys thanks for the tips ^^, so basically, looks I'll put 6.8M for 2 players rather than the 3 I had forecasted. Alf, congrats on that plan.

PS : I know this is not the dynasty board, but I never intended this to be a dynasty :)

Well, not all of us are up between 4am and 8am US time to provide insightful commentary. Heck, at that time of the day, I'm lucky if I can spell insightful. ;)

I presume these are ages after the age update (19yo formidable and all that jazz) since a 20yo on a slow moving path and only starting at formidable is only going to be able to get to about world class before you have to cut ties.

Why run Fortunato as an offensive defender? You're basically throwing away a training spot since no one really cares if you create a high level PM defender- they'll look at him as a PM'er with good defense but neither are in high demand. Heck, it's why I have an OCD- it didn't cost any more than just getting a defender at that same level.

Also, for those couple you have left to buy, why not look into trying to snag some winger ability on a defender or two. I know it's not the crazy boost you get for passing in strikers or playmakers but winger on a defender sells for decently more than one without. Tho, I haven't looked at the costs to see if it's worth it. But with the changes from a couple of seasons ago, running a couple of defenders with high wing offensively can boost those wing offenses and that's something you'll need running a 5-3-2.

Also, please note that I am tryinh to win my div, hence me sacrifying training slots for in-game performance.
