Figured I'd try here, did a search and some things were helpful.

For no reason, my computer started running ass-slow the other day. Downloaded AdAware, ran that, along with CWShredder (nothing found), MS anti-spyware, Norton AV. I have Norton, so I feel fairly safe, as well as Windows firewall.

I ran CrapCleaner, found a lot of registry issues. Basically, when I try and do anything, even open a webpage, my CPU usage (on Win Task Manager) jumps to 100% at random. I've run the Malicious Software Tool and I'm just about at my wits end. The thing I noticed is that I have 38 processes running, a bunch of them are Norton and MS related. I've checked everything in the task manager against online databases and found nothing. I ran the defrag and it told me I did not need defragging. I have 9-10 GB free on a 40 GB HD, so I don't really think that's a problem.

Any idears, it's driving me nuts! Thanks.

Hate to say it, but you might want to consider backing up everything you have on a dvd/cd and reformat. I know the reports are telling you that nothing is wrong, but sometimes strange things just happen.
