I've been reading some reviews and some of the previous posts. Now that some of you have had a chance to play around with the games what are your impressions.
If someone could comment on the franchise mode in each, especially how the salary cap is handled. My impression is that in NHL 06 nothing is there to restrict spending unless your owners goal is lots of money. My impression of 2K6 is that there is no cap, but each team has hard budgets.
I have a second question about NHL 06. How are the goals for owners done? I've heard that the blackhawks goal is to have the number one pick. Does that goal change? If you have a good year and make the playoffs will you get fired because you didn't achieve your goal?
I think I have a good idea of what to expect on the gameplay side of things.
