And they replaced him with the O-Line coach. Now, I'm a little confused. . . isn't their horrific offensive line responsible for a lot of how bad they are?

My money's on Tice as the first head coach to go.

Maybe the Texans can then hire Mike Tice as their offensive coordinator when that happens.

I figured Dom Capers or Tice would be the first head coaches to go. Guess Capers is safe(r)?

I would say this move may have bought him some more time. Tice on the other hand can't really do much except start to win I would think.

As upset as I am with the Vikings start, I don't think you can just fire a player's coach like Tice anytime soon. As ugly as it's been, they have still got to be the favorites to win the NFC North. Until that's not the case, let's not turn the season upside down.

Given what's been happening in the North during the first two weeks of the year, that's not much of an accomplishment.

Give Mr. Obvious a large round of applause. Thank you, Mr. Obvious.

You know who you are talking to right? He's missing Suicane.

Sure you can.

"Hello, Mike Tice? Yes, you're fired. Clear out. Your replacement? Les Steckel. Or Bud Grant. We haven't decided yet."
