A Brilliant scorer with no secondaries, I say you're looking at getting anywhere from 1.2M-1.8M

Passing helps a lot with scorers, for future trainees, get at least inadequate passing. That would increase his sell value by at least 500K or so.

The wretched passing is what kills him, I train scorers as well.

I just sold two brilliants over the passed few weeks ago. Both of them only had weak passing. One of them went for 1.85M and the other went for 2.56M.

The 2.56 was very odd though, these two D4 teams were bidding back and forth on him and I honestly have no idea at all.

But anyway, for a wretched passer, start him at 1.5 maybe? If he doesn't sell at that, then you can work slightly lower from there.

I asked about the passing(2ndary skill) when I first started...due to the acquisition costs of getting a good trainee with good 2ndary skills was too expensive....also it was suggested here that when first starting, just try to focus on pure/good Scoring trainees and as you grow in HT , then start getting trainees with secondaries. None of my trainees has secondaries.

Question: Should I train passing for 2-4 weeks to bump up the Passing Skill of my trainees a bit and sell Vincent Murdock (guy above) at the end of the season with a little better passing? I don't know if I can get him to inadequate or even passable by the end of the season. Or should I train Murdock to Passable Passing and sell him next year after he turns 21? Or just stay the course with Scoring training and get replacement trainees with 2ndaries?

I have been looking at a minimum of Inadequate Passing for Murdock's replacement.

Thanks!

I would say stay the course with scoring, then focus on better trainees for the future.
Make sure your other trainees keep getting scoring training.

wretched passing would take around 10 weeks to get up to weak.

only other thing i would say is if you can't get inadequate passing in trainees, try for weak passing. then work on training passing in offseason to try and get it up to inadequate.

Yea, its ok that they don't have the best secondaries the first time through, just every time you buy trainess, make sure you go a step up.

I started with all weak passers, then inad, and now i only get passables-solids. It just takes time.
