Yeah some of us are still lame and watch it.

Anyways .. good WWE news ... For me anyways.. Maybe others.

JOEY STYLES IS COMMENTATING TABOO TUESDAY

WWE confirms it....

Joey Styles has confirmed in an interview with WWE.com that he will be announcing WWE Taboo Tuesday tonight so that Jonathan Coachman can "prepare" for his match with Batista. The interview put off the situation as a one time thing, but it appears that the gig is a tryout for Styles that could lead to him becoming the new voice of RAW.

So what's the real deal with J.R.? Did he leave on actual bad terms with WWE, or was it a mutual parting of the ways?

First, J.R. has been living in Oklahoma for the past few years, so Vince is questioning his dedication to the company. Second, he needed surgery to remove part of his intestines because of a blockage. Third, Vince wanted someone more "hip" (i.e. younger) as the head announcer on RAW.

Joey Styles (ECW's former announcer) will be doing the announcing duties tonight as a sort of tryout for the spot. They once had Jonathan Coachman doing it, but they feel he is not good enough.

Another rumor is that J.R. is being demoted to announcing WWE.com matches once he's healthy enough to return to work.

It's been a strange 2 days in the 'ole WWE:

-Christian quits
-Steve Austin, unhappy with the fact he was being booked to lose to Coach at Taboo Tuesday, storms off, forcing that match, and the whole JR angle, to be scrapped.
-Tori Wilson fired
-Goldust and Vader show up on RAW, Vader falls on his 50-year old ass twice in about 30 seconds
-Joey Styles now in as Taboo Tuesday announcer

J.R. Had colon cancer surgery I believe. He has other duities in the cxompany other than announcing, and I would imagine the travel is starting to wear on him.

I like Joey Styles, but his announcing style might be a little too "extreme" for WWE.

The statement says the reports are false and that Wilson alerted WWE that she needed to take care of some personal issues upon her return from Australia.

Christian quit because he was tired of WWE promising him pushes with his character and then failing to deliver

he didnt really quit. his contract was up and he didnt want to sign a new one.

And from what I heard, Austin hurt his back over the weekend moving furniture. May be just an excuse to get out of a match he wasn't interested in working.

Torrie isn't gone. She just took an extended vacation, due to personal issues, www.WWE.com says.
