So much for returning the Lions to the top again this year. I guess we won one superbowl with this guy :(

You think that's bad? My Boston Panthers in the CFL through 14 weeks this season have suffered season or career-ending injuries to key players in almost every week this season. It's become comical.

My HC is also rated VG or E in Avoid Injury, so in the future I'm just going to ignore that particular rating. :)

Let's wait for Quiksand to show up so he can tell us what we're doing wrong. :)

Seriously, though, that's a tough break for you.

Flere's team has been ravaged by injury - not the worst I've ever seen, but darn close. His injured list includes one long-term injury to a stud DE I traded to him in the offseason. Sorry 'bout that, flere. :(

No, really, he passed our physical! I swear!

Not sure what this means...

Obviously the impact of injuries in single player pale in comparison to the injuries in multiplayer. After this injury, i started thinking about the various injuries I've had with this particular coach, and its pretty alarming. This is probably the 4-5th major 70 plus guy wrecked on his clock in 6 seasons(Dre Bly, couple big money FA acquisitions, some promising rookies). Suprisingly Charles Rogers went unscathed in his time here, before i traded him. I got a new head coach :)

Madden is better in this regard. At least you buy a physical training staff and can fire them as opposed to your head coach.

And didn't I give you a 1st round draft choice for him? Ugh.

Not sure what this means...

I just assumed you'd done an in-depth study of multiplayer injuries and how they relate to HC's ratings. :D

Yes you did. And that 1st round pick is now starting for me at LG.

Nice doing business with you! http://dynamic.gamespy.com/%7Efof/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif

After missing all of the 2011 season, norm is back. He is significantly damaged from his 97/97 status, now at 56/57. Those interceptions/accuracy ratings mean that he's pretty useless to me. I guess I'll shop him for a #3 and dream of what might have been.

Addendum

It seems that the Bucs have no problem with giving me the #9 pick in the draft for him, and a future #3. I bet I could have gotten more if i pressed.

Or that he's par for the course for the Lions?

He's the one with the gimpy MCL. Better to cut bait early than later. And i drafted another QB the next year, whom I am grooming to start. So I'm already QB sufficient.

But, he gave his heart, his soul, and his MCL to your franchise. Doesn't that deserve something in return?

Yes, an all expenses paid trip to sunny Tampa Bay.

People wonder why TO isn't loyal to the Eagles.
