My question to you vets is just, do you avoice Nasty/Controversial players? Accross the board, everyone says that they avoid Nasty if at all possible. I guess I'm just curious if the people who have played a long time simply NEVER would pick a nasty guy up, or are there some reasons where you don't mind. My co worker just told me he found a real good deal on a player, but he is nasty... is it worth it?

And controversial, is that a problem? I personally have no players of either, but am I limiting myself? Is it better to get a super cheap nasty guy then blowing a ton on a pleasant?

Just looking for more thoughts.

Thanks!!!

Nasty, and Controversial would only "possibly" affect TS when they are initially purchased or if their leadership is the highest on your team.

As long as they arent Nasty/Controversial with solid leadership, it doesnt matter to me personally.

I have a semi-clown, so I would avoid anybody with solid leadership and lower agreeability than sympathetic.

Other than that... I'd be a little nervous about a TS hit buying a nasty or controversial player, but I wouldn't be concerned about having them on the squad.

Ahh I see, so there are no lasting effects unless they have solid leadership, because then they would be your Team Leader.

Last two trainees I got were Pleasant and they gave me a TS hit anyway, "off to a bad start" :(

If it's a player you plan on keeping long term, I'd be much more worried about the nasty/controversial player being a card magnent than any short-term team spirit effects.

edit: nevermind, I have controversial confused with tempermental

nasty/contriversial has nothing to do with cards. it is termperment and honesty level that determines cards and taking dives.
