There are some moderately provocative link ads on this particular link, but no nudity, and the video itself is completely harmless.

obviously you didnt look very hard, a few clicks and I saw pictures of naked chicks

My point was, simply clicking on the link provided by Easy Mac doesn't bring up any nakedness. Of course you can follow some of the links on that page to naked chicks, but simply visiting the link isn't going to necessarily get you in trouble if the boss walks by and spots your monitor.

Dola -
A few clicks of links on Google and I can look at naked chicks also; should that be considered NSFW?

yes, but the particular link is fine.It is stunning to me how often regulars have overlooked the following concept, mentioned in the rules for posting pics, and clarified in this post:
<table class="tborder" align="center" border="0" cellpadding="4" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tbody><tr><td class="thead" style="font-weight: normal;">../../%7Efof/forums/images/styles/yellow/statusicon/post_old.gif 11-13-2004, 12:36 PM <!-- / status icon and date --> </td> <td class="thead" style="font-weight: normal;" align="right"> #5 (../../%7Efof/forums/showpost.php?p=614757&postcount=5) </td> </tr> <tr valign="top"> <td class="alt2" width="175"> SkyDog (../../%7Efof/forums/member.php?u=59) <script type="text/javascript"> vbmenu_register("postmenu_614757", true); </script>

The problem is that I would strongly suspect that a link to maxim online would raise red flags with some of the 'net usage snooping software. Please consider not just the content of the pic, but the content of the site that it is on.

All I can say, is that if this was anyone else, he would have been banned for a few days....

jsut stop. stop trying to make sense out of the way SD runs this board. all you have to know is if you're one of his "boyeez" then it's ok, if you ain't or if you have a negative history on this forum then the rules apply. if you don't like it, stop coming. i tolerate it, which is why i'm still here. i understand completely it's not ok for me to write certain things that others are allowed to get away with. if i had a problem then i wouldn't come here. but stop crying about it. it's his forum. don't like it - make a better one and you'll get people visiting your place.

it's just silly that you get people like Airhog making posts like the one i quoted, as if they didn't know there are two types of posters here - the ones that are given leeway to bend the rules, and those that aren't.

honestly, had never been to college humor. com, which is why i directly linked to the video. if it had been like www. blond bosty lesbian xxl . com / funny video, then obviously there would have been hxxp. If someone would have just said, hey there's stuff on that site that someone could get in trouble looking at, then I would have changed it then and there (and I did by the time someone said something). But someone just say NSFW and not giving a reason why, especially given the context of the video, then i'm not going to have a clue. So next time say something instead of running around like a little bitch Mrs. Lovehog.

All I can say, is that if this was anyone else, he would have been banned for a few days....1. I've only banned one person for posting pics/links.
2. I don't think I've ever gone into a thread after someone has already changed a problematic link and taken any punitive actions beyond a scolding.

Which is why I pointed it out. I could have sworn that 3-4 regulars have been banned in the past over this, but maybe I was mistaken.

How much effort does it take to HXXP everything you link too? Does it really require a huge amount of effort to change tt to xx?

Even Skydog doesn't hxxp everything. There are a million active links in the reference thread that could have links to websites with god know what on them. No one is perfect, but is it much for work to give a reason for it being NSFW, because I had no clue why, with people even agreein with me.
