he record of 282 was previously held by defensive lineman Jim Marshall, who played from 1960-1969 with the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings.

How can feagles get the record after an 18 year career when the previous guy held the record with a 9 year career?

Because punters only get credit for half a game.

It's a typo, he played from 60-79.

You had to go and spoil it! What's next? You'll point out that 1960-1969 is actually a 10-year career instead of 9? You're no fun!

I would think 28.2 games per year would be difficult to achieve.

Yeah, I was wondering if Jim Marshall played each Sunday in his 10 year career for both Cleveland and Minnesota.

"Marshall is running the wrong way! And he's running it into the end zone the wrong way! Thinks he's scored a touchdown, and he's scored a safety!"
