The Chargers/Raiders game is coming up this weekend and this usually means war in my hometown. So I figured it would be more construtive to talk openly about of differences in this heated rivalry by way of song. This is a truthful account of what will occur during the game. So here's a ping to RaidersArmy, jbmagic, Fouts, myself and any other Chargers or Raiders fan on this message board.

Not exactly your best work. Do they "know LT's a man" or do they "know LT's the man"?

I'm calling it right now, Raiders by double digits. :D

Damn it, you caught my error. That was my original intention when writing it, but of course, I still end up singing what I frickin wrote.

So I guess this will be a B side to the next album.

And as far as calling double digits, you may be correct but for the wrong team. Chargers by double digits. :D

This is awesome. I wish I was at my old workplace to play this for the Raider Nation there. Trying to save this and email it to a guy I know, but having problems saving it.

Honestly, I see the Chargers winning by double digits. I may be a fan, but I'm also realistic. :)

Good luck Sunday!

Yay! One happy customer. :D

You could send them the web address (if they have internet access). If not, then I could email you a smaller mp3 so that you can easily send it by email. I just need the magical email address.

Fouts-

Great handle. Man I miss those old Raiders-Chargers shootouts. I hated the Chargers so bad, but now I miss the special rivalry they had. Fouts, Winslow, Muncie, Jefferson and no defense vs my Raiders. I think I knew as much about the Chargers as I did about the Raiders, even though it was tougher to follow them during the pre-NFL boom (directv, etc). I still remember that Monday night long ago. The Chargers up 24-0 at half, then the Raiders win 34-31. Maybe I am just sentimental but thosewere the NFL glory days. Maybe it was just because I was a kid.

I kind of liked it. I think it could be a hit. Of course my initial instinct is to drive to phoenix and sock you in your face. But I can't deny the universal truth to the song, and the melody is kind of soothing and lessens my desire to punch your lights out.

Also, LaDanian is probably the best football player in the world right now. I gotta respect that.

Hey Pumpy, you know that Plummer can't keep this up all season. He is going to implode at the very worst time and you guys are going to lose another home playoff game to Jacksonville.

What is the best song currently playing on FOFC? "AFC West Rivalry" or "PenutButterJellyTime."

Too be honest with you guys, the Chargers should win by double digits, but it won't probably happen. As long as I have been a Chargers fan, this rivalry has always been a good one to watch regardless of the record for both teams. In fact, the most likely scenario is that one team will win by a touchdown or less. I just like to get my trash talking out of the way since the Chargers have yet to win a Super Bowl. I mean it still amazes me that Dan Fouts never went to a Super Bowl.

Yes, I loved those games. Fouts was my kind of QB, hung in the pocket and lofted the ball to the corner of the endzone where JJ, Chander, or Joiner would run under it.

Don't get me started on the Raiders vs Chargers history. I absolutely hated the cheating Raiders when I was a kid. I could post the Holy Roller story again. :)

I think the real test for the Chargers will be the Indy game. They have a good shot at a wildcard spot, but the Indy game will show how far they can go this year.

I always wonder what would have happened if Dan Fouts ever had a good defence.

That game definitely concerns me. I hate the fact that Manning got the record against the Chargers last year. This time around, I hope the defense can get some kind of pressure on this guy, but a lot of teams have failed thus far.

If the Chargers beat the Raiders this Sunday, I'll be rooting for them to be Indy.

Wow! I knew they would win, but I didn't realize I was a semi prophet!

Raiders will lose to the Chargers
Not really a huge prediction based on their seasons, but still.

...They'll score several TD's
And that's all because of a guy named Drew Brees...
Okay I was a little off on the amount, but only a little, but thank you Drew Brees.

...The Chargers will score more than 32...
This is probably the biggest prediction here. Sorry Raiders Army, jbmagic, Mo Raider and judicial clerk. It was an interesting first quarter, but wait until next year (if they decide to keep Collins). I will celebrate with a temperary smile since the season isn't over yet.

Although the Three Stooges made a big deal about there being only one penalty in the entire game, there should've been a lot more. Grrrrrrr.
