Anybody care to explain why there is a High School basketball game on TV tonight? I'm guessing it's because there is a Lebron type player playing. Any info would be cool, as I may tape the game if it is supposed to be of great interest.

It's the Ohio State Invitational. Greg Oden, #1 player in the class, plays for Lawrenceville North. The PG for LN is a top PG. The SG for Dayton Dunbar is one of the top SGs as well. All three have played for the same AAU team for years and have signed with Ohio State. Dayton Dunbar also has a decent big guy, Aaron Pogue, to somewhat compete with Oden.

No problem. It is pretty bad that I'm more excited about watching this game than OSU's game with St. Joe's on Saturday.

Oden suffers from "Shar-Pei Head", which also afflicted Shane Battier

Bucc would like this line from Oden's Wikipedia entry:

Oden was named Parade Magazine High school Player of the Year 2005 (along with Monta Ellis), becoming the first junior since LeBron James to be named such.

My friend blocked Greg Oden's shot in 4th grade... No joke, this was also his first year to ever play and he was HORRIBLE! Funny to look at where he is now.

Dola..
I also played for this team so I saw it with my own two eyes! :D It was funny seeing a 5' kid swat a kid at or above 6'..
